Bit of a Shit Weekend

Got in a fight Sunday at half time, when one of the lads was giving me a lot of lip! I asked him to shut up, which he came back with more drivel, so…I slapped the nut on him. Not one of my proudest moments, not for the family scrap book.
I got a lot of grief from some of the other members of the team, which wasn’t nice, so I took an early shower and went home. I have emailed the manager and apologies and said I would face and disciplinary action taken by the club, not sure what it will be yet?
Nutting the lad, I also pulled a muscle in my back!?! Unbelievable!! That’s Karma for you.

Today, I got a rejection from the job I went for at the Hospital, as a network technician.
So bit of a downer this weekend / early week.
Not sure if Ryan will ring me today about training with Abbey Hulton, as he said he would, so let’s see…he might surprise me.
Also someone sent me this in an email which I think is hilarious:

No game!!

No game this weekend, which was a slight disappointment. The pitch was frozen…a bit of a bad call by the referee, as by 10:45am the pitch was nice and soft.
The team also disappointed me as only 3 players (including myself) wanted to train!?! I just can’t believe that they feel that they do not need to train especially as the team is suffering poor form of late. Felt slightly sorry for the manager as he seemed quite powerless to do anything about it, I really think a bit of “Tough Love” would do the team wonders.

Anyway, on a social level, I met some of Monika’s friends from Uni for the first time, which was nice. We went to the Art of Siam for some lunch, and then for some drinks at the Sheet Anchor @ Baldwin’s Gate. The day was pleasant, especially as we finished the night off with an Indian takeaway from “2 Angels” which is excellent, as all the ingredients are low fat products and they use local farmers produce.
